What to expect when you visit

At Court Street Church you will see people in blue jeans and people in suits - don't overthink your wardrobe choices!  Be who you are, and come as you are.

Court Street Church has abundant parking.  We encourage guests to park in the lot nearest the main entrance, which can be accessed from W. Court Street.  Parking lots can also be accessed from Church Street, Beach Street, and W. 5th Street.  The pay lot across from the back of the Courthouse is free on Sundays!

When you enter the church, families with children please go to the Kid Check Station located in the main entrance at the top of the stairs. Please follow the instructions on the table so we are able to securely check your child in and out of the building during their visit.

Worship begins at 10:30am.

We believe in the power of music, and worship always features enthusiastic congregational singing and musical offerings from one of our many musical ensembles.

Our worship often includes traditional elements like the Apostles' Creed and the Lord's Prayer (we print those for you - don't worry if you don't know the words), but we also make lots of room for out-loud laughter and quiet listening.

Early in the service we invite children (K - 5th grade) to come forward for a children's message.  Following the children's message, children will sometimes be invited to join our children's pastor for Believe, a time of children's worship; on other Sundays, we provide worksheets and crayons and encourage children to stay in the sanctuary.

We believe in the power of stories and words.  Each Sunday we will read from the Bible and hear a message that connects God's word to our lives, our struggles, our hopes, and our dreams.

Following worship, please stay for coffee and light refreshments!  We would love to greet you and learn your name!
